The oxygen concentration of oxygen concentrators is generally set at about 2L~5L, but patients with type II respiratory failure need low-concentration oxygen.

Oxygen concentrators are generally suitable for patients with long-term hypoxia, such as patients with chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cor pulmonale and other respiratory diseases. Under normal circumstances, when there is no carbon dioxide retention, the oxygen concentration is generally maintained at about 2L~3L, but if there is carbon dioxide retention, unconsciousness and other hypercapnia patients, low-flow oxygen inhalation is required, generally less than 2L, to avoid aggravating hypoxia caused by high-flow oxygen inhalation.
